Friendliness is something that has run through our cycling club right from the start. Whilst the club has grown to become the medium sized club it is today, the heart of the club remains the same. So whichever of our members you find yourself riding with each weekend, it’s bound to be a friendly bunch, and you’re sure to make some great friends in the process.
We host group rides every Saturday and Sunday, with an additional ride on Wednesday evenings whilst it is light. We use Behind Bars Bike Shop in Abingdon as our meeting point, with a drink and chat available before and afterwards. We are keen to grow our club and share our passion for cycling with you, so please contact us and we will arrange a buddy to get you started.
After going out for a ride we all need to refuel, and what better way to do this than home-made cake? Come along to one of our Saturday rides and you’ll get rewarded with the baking efforts of a different club member every week accompanied a hot drink and chat in our host shop Behind Bars in Abingdon.
