Berkhamsted Cycling Club is a British Cycling affiliated community sports association for road cyclists covering Berkhamsted and surrounding areas in the Chilterns. We are passionate about road cycling and aim to provide fun, fitness and challenge. Even though we are just 7 years old, we have over 200 members, making us one of the largest local cycling clubs in Britain. But don’t be put off by our size, as we are well known as a very friendly club.
Our membership is diverse and starts from 16 years of age and includes all age groups and capabilities with a high percentage of women. As a community based club our ethos is inclusion so we provide social rides through to competitive performance cycling including time trials, hills climbs, crit racing and more. We actively participate in a wide range of sportives and our members are prone to organising interesting cycling excursions! Even though we are a road cycling club we have many members who also enjoy MTB and gravel riding.
