Corallian Cycling Club is a modern, friendly, independent club focusing on offering regular sociable rides for enthusiastic leisure cyclists. We organise rides from Wantage, Oxfordshire, and also the surrounding area. The club caters for existing riders who are keen on their riding and committed to cycling.
As a rider, you can expect a calendar of rides of varying lengths and speeds, with some rides being “off our patch” to allow for variety and exploration. We have organised weekends away and an annual club holiday to somewhere a little more exotic. All rides will be lead in a low-key way by a trained and insured ride leader. Most weekend rides will include refreshment stops. While we will endeavour to ensure riders come on rides that they are capable of, be rest assured that there is always somebody who is last up the hills, and we will always wait for whoever they are!
If you are wondering what on earth “Corallian” is, it’s the name of a layer of limestone outcropping to the north of Wantage which stops the Thames from leaking southwards… you can see the trademark yellow stone on many buildings in the area.
