This club has been set up by a group of enthusiasts who love cycling and good coffee.
The primary goal is to have a sociable time with like-minded people who enjoy the pleasures of cycling, conversation and finding new places to stop for coffee, cake and some breakfast.
The club meets on a Sunday morning at 8.00am (8.30 am December to March) at the Danbury Sports and Social Club car park and set off on a route of approximately 50 miles taking in a breakfast stop. We are normally back in Danbury no later than midday.
The average speeds tend to be between 16 – 18 mph but occasionally the odd STRAVA section comes into play and a short blast is had by a few – doesn’t last long though!
If anyone is interested in joining the group please feel free to come along and see what it’s like. There is no obligation to join straightaway but club rules and insurance dictates that after three rides you must join the club – by then you will want to……….
