This is no ordinary cycling club, this is the most prestigious of all cycling clubs based in The Regent’s Park, who wear mostly black and meet at 5.45am.
Rouleurs are not born, they are slowly cooked. Training every weekday* at 5.45am in perfectly well-drilled group training rides that make it is a struggle to get through the rest of the day awake.
RPR don’t just ride hard, they ride smooth, with lashings of souplesse.
RPR training sessions are not just your standard training sessions, they demand a very good level of fitness and prior group riding experience to ensure safety over all else. Sessions focus mainly on road riding, but members also race and train on the track and off-road.
RPR are more than just a club, they are a deliberately small and intimate club.
Cyclists do not just join RPR, prospective new members go through a gruelling period of probation to ensure their spirit is right.
