West Wight Wheelers are a very sociable cycle club, based in the West of the Isle of Wight.
Initially an informal group of local enthusiasts keen to enjoy the benefits of riding in company, West Wight Wheelers grew in popularity over the ensuing three years to the point where becoming an organised club was the logical next step, and we became affiliated to CTC and British Cycling in August 2015.
We are an inclusive club and welcome all levels and varieties of cyclist: members have the opportunity to develop their skills alongside experienced riders, enter organised events or simply enjoy our regular social rides in relaxed company along the Island’s back roads at a pace that suits most standards and abilities.
We aim to be part of the community and support local businesses and charities but above all we try to never lose sight of the fundamental ethos of cycling: It’s meant to be fun!
