Review

Liv has launched its first ever gravel bike in the Devote, and is said to have passed the challenge with flying colours.

An Aluminium frame with up to 45mm tyre clearance and mounts for racks and mudguards – providing you with additional coverage in the winter months or particularly dusty trails. It has room for three bottle cages, allowing its rider to venture further afield and try an audax with all of its accessory mounts.

Pros

  • Mudguard mounts
  • 45mm tyre clearance
  • Three bottle cage holders
  • Great value for money
  • Impressively smooth over rough terrain

Cons

  • Seatpost clamp is fiddly to adjust
  • Integrated thru-axle tool is also fiddly
  • Limited colours

Verdict

Overall a cracking first attempt by Liv, you can see the design has been thoroughly researched and tested. Great value for money, responsive performance and a bike that can take you just about anywhere.
