Specialized have their own Wind Tunnel which allows them to test all of their products meticulously. The Specialized Evade II MIPS helmet favors their Energy Optimized Multi-Density EPS which optimises foam types in different areas.
Straight up, it’s the fastest road helmet out there. Having their own wind tunnel allows Specialized to develop our products with aero at the forefront of the design, rather than merely testing them there.

A fast and comfortable helmet, which benefits highly from Specialized’s in house wind tunnel. The performance doesn’t come cheap, but it is said to have three layers of safety, Multi-density EPS, ANGI sensor and MIPS balancing out the expense.
Unfortunately not the best ventilated helmet, so if you plan on spending your days in sunny Spain climbing the mountains, you’d probably want to opt for something different.
