A saddle designed upon research, Specialized has taken away unnecessary length in a saddle by shortening it and clipping the nose. They seem to have based the design on a mixture of the saddles they already had on the market. 

It’s a firm yet supportive saddle, which you can almost forget you’re sitting on during a long ride. It has a relatively flat cross section which combines with the central cutout to reduce the pressure on soft tissue while cycling. It’s said to be a great saddle for those who are quite sturdy in the saddle – find a position and hold it – rather than those who move around or slide forward.
